when i graduated from brown in 2005 i went on a soul-searching romp across the pacific rim. i challenged myself to live simply, and try things that i had always considered "not me." away from everything that had previously defined me, i realized the only thing i truly missed was playing music. (unfortunately, it's difficult to backpack with a weighted keyboard!)
when i returned to the US, i had the once in a lifetime opportunity to talk shop with rock and roll hall of famers jerry lieber and peter stoller. sitting in a room with these legendary songwriters, listening to their responses about my music, suddenly made everything seem possible--or better yet, probable! they took me seriously, and so i began to as well.
since then i've been playing in and around new york and providence, and all over connecticut. my first full-length album will be out at the end of May.
