Greetings Webtraveller,

Many factors have contributed to my decision to start using my original spiritual name again: Porter Singer

When my mother was pregnant with me, she and my father had the same dream about a baby girl named Porter (they did not know they were having a girl at that point). "Porter" is the gatekeeper, and I feel very resonant with my role in directing energy, counseling people, and being a "carrier" of new perspectives. "Singer" was the name my great-grandfather was given as a last name in his orphanage because he liked to hum to himself. I deeply relate to music as a tool for comfort and connection.

For me, this change marks an era of greater authenticity, where I choose to fully embrace who I am, who I have been, and who I will be.

Bestest,
Porter Singer
(the artist formerly known as Sirgun Kaur)
